  Amazing agency and amazing condo. It was honestly my favorite condo I’ve ever stayed at in Fort Walton since I started going in 2002. Nice, very big and spacious one bedroom with an amazing view. Cleanest unit I have ever stayed in as well. The agency made it so easy to pick up/drop off keys doing their closed hours and made it known to call them it I needed assistance with anything. Will definitely be going back for sure.

  We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this condo. As soon as you walk in the view was breathtaking. So no matter what the weather was like, you could enjoy ocean views from the balcony, living room, or bedroom. The condo was quiet. The complex’s was doing some maintenance on the building across from us. But that is to be expected for off season and we have always been impressed with how well the El Matador is maintained. But since this condo had been recently renovated with super heavy sliding doors and windows, you could not hear them at all inside the condo. My only suggestion for rental owner is to include some towel hooks in the bathroom. There was no where to hang your bath towel besides over the toilet and it wasn’t enough for 2 towels to dry. And the floors could have used some TLC. They had been vacuumed but needed a really good mopping. Our socks and slippers were pretty dirty after walking on the floor. But the condo was clean and comfortable besides that. We will return to this condo in the future!

  Exceptionally clean and lovely decorated. Perfect view of beach. Kitchen was well stocked with all utensils and plates/glasses and enough bath towels. They even have a closet full of beach equipment like blow ups, boogie boards and chairs. Love that it came with free beach service (chairs and umbrella set up).   Fantastic condo. Great view, comfy furniture, kitchen was one of the best ones we’ve ever had as far as having the most cooking utensils, pots, pans, etc. We have stayed in quite a few condos at El Matador and this might be my favorite. The only issues we had were with the linens being old but that’s not the owners fault, I’ve let the management company know as well.

  It was so convenient. In years past we have stayed in Destin for our family vacation, this was the first time staying in Fort Walton. The location of El Matador being the last hotel on the north end was key. The room 435 that we stayed in was very spacious and very clean. Didn’t have to ever wait for elevators, pool, or beach access due to the heavy July crowds. Really liked it!

The road trip took a little longer than we expected so we arrived after hours to pick up the keys but the directions and instructions left for us were clear and simple - no problems at all!   It was a beautiful stay. Last complex on the street so to the right was quit and uninhabitated. Really nice condo. Alicia Hollis was great to work with and great communication. I hope to buy in the area some day and I will most certainly reach out to them when that time comes. The only downer to our unit was the windows in the bedroom need to be updated I think because in the heat of the day even with the curtain closed it would get really hot in that room.

  This property was great! The beach wasn’t packed and having beach service to go with the stay was amazing!! The condo was beautifully decorated. The only thing that needs an update is the patio door (it’s a little hard to open) and the freezer was leaking into the bottom park of the fridge.I would definitely stay at this condo again.

  This is a perfect location for a vacation to the beach. It was our third visit to the Emerald Coast and we couldn't have found a more perfect place. We spent several hours each day sitting on the terrace eating meals and enjoying the site and sound of the surf. It was a quiet, peaceful and restful time for us to refresh and recharge while being conveniently close to restaraunts and shops in Ft. Walton, Destin and Navarre.   We had a fantastic time over Labor Day weekend. Checking in, finding our room, and unloading were all super easy. The room was welcoming and clean. Some reviews state it is outdated. We only found that to be true with the bathroom. The complex was very nice and quiet. The beach was Beautiful! One thing we learned, they do not allow any type of blow up toys/floats and beverages in the pool.
  I would rent from this realtor anytime. We forgot a tablet in the condo. Alicia and her team got it back to us! We were so grateful!

  I can't say enough good things about this place. It was quiet with a beautiful view of the gulf and a clean comfortable condominium at El Matador. I particularly liked the fact that the facility was gated and that parking areas were walked by the guards at times during the night and early morning. The heated pool was useable in February.
