This large 2 bedroom 2 bathroom condo is located on the 6th floor of this complex. It is approximately 1475 square feet of comfortable living space with a 30 foot private balcony that overlooks the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. The master bedroom which faces the beach has a King size bed. The large guest bedroom has 2 Double beds. The living room has a Queen size sofa sleeper and a recliner for your comfort. There are 2 TV's, DVD/VCR and High speed internet access. The kitchen is fully equipped with a full size washer and dryer for your convenience in a separate laundry room.

  Great location, great view and easy beach access. Musty smell when we entered but not horrible. We arrived early evening, unpacked and left for supper. When we returned after dark and turned on the lights, there were roaches all over the kitchen. Completely sickening considering I had already unpacked my clothes and groceries. There were no paper towels or dish detergent in the room so I had to make another trip out for those things, bug spray and lysol while I was out. I sent an email but four days later, it still has not been answered. The master toilet is loose in the floor and the guest bathroom toilet takes several flushes to empty. Great location but would not recommend 609.

    Jean thanks so much for your review but, we have never received anything from you unless you sent an email to VRBO. Unfortunately they don't handle the unit the only take reservations, so we were out of the picture with your email. We do not provide cleaning supplies in the condo, only 2 dish packs comp for the dishwasher and the other things you got in there, and as of today, i checked with the next tenant that arrived in the unit and they are not having any problems what so ever, very happy with it. But, i am glad you enjoyed it with the wonderful view of the balcony and our great beaches and its location and 609 is a great unit.

  We rented Surf Dweller -Unit 609. The unit was very clean and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable as well. I loved the sliding doors to the porch off the master bedroom. The bathrooms were clean and had lots of storage space. The kitchen had everything we needed. This unit could use a little updating, but was wonderful.

  We did not have a tv remote in master bedroom.
  Beds in guest room had either been broken and tried to be fixed , but they were not level. Alot of issues with previous renters.
  Chris from office called and told me about them and the maintenance person came and looked at all the issues and wrote them down. I really appreciate that. Our grandson and his family were in this condo.
  The master bedroom ac doesnt have good air flow , the room stays really hot in there. It needs to looked at . All the vents need to be cleaned out.

  The location was close to the beach and a great mid point between the end of the island and the pier. Beach was clean. If weather was not good for the gulf - the pool was a great option to hang out. Another review mentioned the carpet was dirty and had stains. Would concur on that - but overall the condo was clean.

  Overall,we were satisfied with our stay. We give the living room and bedroom an A. The dining room furniture a B. The kitchen paint is beautiful but an amature job. Very old cabinets. I bought some cereal and serving bowls which we left there. Also untensils are not up to standard. The guest bath has new wallpaper but the floor is really bad. The master bathroom gets an F. The bedroom lampshade on the right needs to be replaced. Property was clean. The view is wonderful.
  Our property manager professional Chris gets an A+. She is professional, works very hard and is extremely nice. Yes I do and have recommended this property

  We were under the impression there were TVs in both bedrooms. One room did, but one didn't. That room, which we were told the TV was broken, was in a closet in the room. When we arrived at the room, one of the bathrooms was locked. There was also another closet that was locked. We figured it was a closet we were not to enter. On the last day, we shined a light in that closet and apparently there were towels in that closet that I assume we were to have used?? The most scariest part of our trip was my diabetic husband was trapped in a hot elevator for almost 30 minutes. The stuck elevator happened to several families during the week.

  Surf Dweller is our favorite place to stay in Ft. Walton. All of the suites have 2-bedrooms, a full kitchen and great views overlooking the beach. This particular suite had a tile floor in the entryway and kitchen, making it easier to keep clean, and a laundry area with a washer and dryer. We appreciate that they accept a per diem rate for business travel. The real estate office was very helpful and easy to work with.

  Nice enough of a rental, since that's how people appear to treat the entire family oriented resort. Be prepared for lots of kids, noise, slamming doors, and the kind of messes people like that leave behind. The unit above this one must have laminate or tile floors throughout because you can her every chair scrape/drag, running/leaping children, and dropping of shoes.

  Chris Ault especially, but the entire staff at Alicia Hollis, are so accommodating and gracious. Unit itself is very spacious, the full-sized laundry room was great for us since we were long-term residents. Appears to have recently installed high grade carpet and it's nice that the pool is on the backside of the property as opposed to being right under your window.
